How can I look after 2 young boys, run errands, and manage a very very busy day at playgroups, tesco, and preschool, yet still look good?" Any advice would be greatly appreciated."

Hi Kate,
First of all thanks for taking time to write to Fashion Racket. Lets get to the point. Most new mums have what we call a 2 year glitch. This means that you can get stuck in a rut of getting used to your new identity as a mum and anything extra is a little bit too much to take on whilst you are establishing this new identity. Its great to hear from you - sounds like you are ready to take on more in terms of your identity and feeling good about yourself! My suggestion is start simple. Buy yourself a few key pieces. A simple denim skirt, with some leggings to wear underneath, a nice bright jewel coloured cardigan, and some nicely tailored jeans - depending on your shape, I would suggest skinny leg if you have great legs, or a bootleg dark denim jean if you have bigger legs." These pieces will get you through your week by mixing them up and still retaining that comfy feel of your home tracksuits. Good luck and take some risks!
